| Join us for a cross-institutional discussion on how creative schools, universities, and research centers are moving beyond the traditional motion capture barriers. From classroom integration to advanced research, we will discuss how markerless motion capture is removing friction and becomes an enabler for the next creators and researchers. The transition from special suits to markerless workflows is doing more than just saving time or reducing costs. It is fundamentally changing who can access body motion data and where that data can be captured. During this event, hosted by Moverse, we bring together representatives from Aalto University, SAE Athens, CYENS Centre of Excellence, and Goldsmiths University of London to share their views and experiences in shifting to a suit-less academic environment. |
| What will be discussed: From lab to classroom: Moving MoCap from an exclusive, supervised resource to a hands-on tool accessible to all students. Transforming the curriculum: A discussion on how degree programs are adapting their courses to stay ahead of industry trends. Research with accessible infrastructure: How teams leverage markerless portability to conduct research in environments where traditional MoCap is impossible. |
